When hiring a builder for a new home it is critical to make an informed decision. I went to three meetings with builders to find out process, timelines, costs, warranty, change fees, and most of all customer-builder relationship. Picking Kaidian Homes was easy as long as I listened to what was important. This process took me 12 months just to decide who is the builder! Winner! Winner! What’s important - quality of work -10/10. Every trade was on point and delivered quality outcomes. Taking time to ask me to come and see, make changes, order what I wanted, and tell me NO when it didn’t work. I appreciated every step of the way knowing what was next, what needed to be ordered, what didn’t look good and even give me weekly progress reports. I knew every week where we were in the process. Sure there were issues when building - but every single one had solutions. You can’t build a house and not have issues arise. What is important was hearing about them, helping resolve them, and knowing the solutions were decided together. Shane the owner was on-site everyday for oversight. If he was needing to be away - I knew in advance not to expect him at site. Meetings with suppliers for cupboards, plumbing, lighting, flooring was all booked and he was always present to assist in selection, offer criticism when it was a bad choice (and tell me why). As a builder, Shane has pride and passion in every home he builds. It’s not just a home - it’s someone’s home and he truly owns the responsibility of it being the
best. Allowing me to enter every single day is truly a blessing - check your contracts - most say as the owner you can enter the job site only 2-4 times during the build. I rarely missed a day to see changes. Finally price - I could not have found a person more reasonable and fair than Kaidian homes. The contract, changes, and final billing was as expected without surprises.
Kaidian Homes, Shane and his team deserve 5 stars, and 10/10!
